About the Guide

Trying to conceive but your reports look “mostly normal”?

Your HbA1c — the 3-month blood sugar marker — may be silently affecting your fertility.

This guide explains how sugar stability, stress, sleep, and metabolism impact hormones, ovulation, implantation, egg quality, and sperm health — especially after 30.

It offers a gentle, couple-based plan to bring HbA1c down safely, without crash dieting or extreme routines.

The Biological Timeline of Your TWW

Days 1-5 (The Fertilisation Window)

1 DPO (Fertilisation Window): The egg enters the fallopian tube, and if sperm are present, fertilisation happens within 12-24 hours.

2-3 DPO (The Morula): The fertilised cell divides into a cluster that travels the fallopian tube, powered entirely by energy stored in the egg.

4-5 DPO (The Blastocyst): The blastocyst enters the uterine cavity, while the lining thickens under progesterone to prepare to receive it.

Days 6-14 (Implantation & Testing)

6-7 DPO (Implantation Begins): The blastocyst hatches from its shell and attaches to the uterine lining.

8-9 DPO (Implantation Completes): The embryo burrows into the blood-rich lining, which may cause light pink or brown spotting.

11-14 DPO (The Testing Window): hCG doubles every 48-72 hours, and by Day 13-14, hCG should reach 25 mIU/mL, which is detectable on most home tests.

The TWW Protocol: What to Do & Avoid

  • Keep Moving Normally.

  • Use a Warm Water Bottle.

  • Eat Pineapple Core.

  • Avoid Cold Foods & Drinks.

  • Avoid Alcohol & NSAIDs
